Stephanie has more than 20 years of product development experience in Canada, Germany, France and Australia in companies ranging from high-volume manufacturing to venture capital-backed startups, most recently as CEO of a nanotechnology firm. Stephanie now sits on several boards and committees, provides mentoring to startups and is an active angel investor. Named one of Australia’s Most Innovative Engineers in 2016, Stephanie has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering Physics, a Master of Business in International Business and is a graduate of the AICD Company Directors Course. Stephanie’s particular areas of technical expertise include hydrogen technologies, energy storage, internal combustion engines and alternative fuels.
Manuel has a passion for innovation and international collaborations, with areas of technical expertise that include batteries, materials science and nanotechnology. With a Master of Engineering in Materials and a Master of Business in Entrepreneurship, Manuel is skilled at defining product development strategy and has prepared grant applications and due diligence documents for successful substantial capital raises. Manuel also serves as an executive member of the local branch of the Australian Institute of Energy.
Penny can bring order to even the most chaotic environment and has exceptional problem-solving skills. With undergraduate qualifications in Applied Chemistry, Environmental Science and Marine Biology, a Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety and working towards a Master of Business Administration in Project Management, Penny has extensive laboratory experience in biotechnology and chemistry including Research & Development, chemical waste management and technology scale-up from laboratory to prototype to manufacturing. Her career also encompasses high-level responsibilities for workplace health, safety and environment as well as developing business and quality systems for growing technology companies.
